For delivery to take place, the seller is not required to load goods on any means of transport or, where such customs clearance applies, clear the goods for export. Free-to-Carrier (FCA) Free-to-Carrier (FCA) means that the seller delivers the goods to the buyer in one of two ways: In the first option, when the specified place is the property of the seller, the goods are delivered when they are loaded on transport vehicles organized by the buyer. In the second option; when the named place is another address, when the goods reach another specified address after being loaded on the means of transport organized by the seller, and when they are ready for delivery from the means of transport of the seller in question and the carrier or another person appointed by the buyer. Whichever of the two options is chosen as the delivery location; this location determines where and when the risk and costs are transferred to the buyer. Delivered Carriage Paid (CPT) Delivered Carriage Paid (CPT) means that the seller delivers the goods to the buyer by delivering the goods to the buyer\u2014and transferring the risk\u2014to the carrier or by supplying the goods so delivered. The seller may do so by ensuring that the carrier has physical possession of the goods at the location and in accordance with the means of transport used. Once the goods have been delivered to the buyer in this way, the seller does not guarantee that the goods will arrive at their destination in good condition, in the specified quantity or in actuality. This is because the risk from seller to buyer is transferred to the carrier when the goods are delivered to the buyer; however, the seller must contract for the carriage of the goods from delivery to the agreed destination. Carriage and Insurance Paid Delivery (CIP) Carriage and Insurance Paid Delivery (CIP) means that the seller delivers the goods to the seller, delivers them to the carrier or delivers them to the buyer by supplying the goods and transfers the risk. it can do this by ensuring that it has physical possession of the goods in a suitable way and on the ground in the means of transport. Once the goods have been delivered to the buyer in this way, the seller does not guarantee that the goods will arrive at their destination in good condition, in the specified quantity or in actuality. Delivered at Specified Place (DAP) Delivered at Indicated Place (DAP) means that the seller delivers the goods to the buyer and transfers the risk when the goods are released to the buyer at the named destination or on a means of transport ready for unloading at the named destination. the agreed point at that place, if such a point has been agreed upon. The seller assumes all risks associated with the delivery of the goods to the named place of destination or to the agreed point in that place. In this Incoterms rule, delivery to destination and arrival are the same. Delivered Unloaded at Specified Place (DPU) Delivered Unloaded at a Specified Place (DPU), goods removed from arriving means of transport to the specified destination or, if such a point is agreed, at the agreed point at that place. The seller assumes all risks associated with the delivery and unloading of the goods at the named place of destination. In this Incoterms rule, delivery to destination and arrival are the same. DPU is the only Incoterms rule that requires the seller to unload goods at the destination. Therefore, the seller must ensure that it is in the unloading arrangement position at the specified location. If the parties want the seller not to bear the risk and cost of offloading, the DPU rule should be avoided and DAP should be used instead. Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) means when the goods are placed at the buyer&#8217;s service, cleared for import, on the arriving means of transport, ready for unloading, at the named place of destination, or when the seller delivers the goods to the buyer. If such a point is agreed, at the agreed point at that place. The seller assumes all risks associated with the delivery of the goods to the named place of destination or to the agreed point in that place.
